Are hot-swappable keyboards universal?
Not exactly. “Hot-swappable” means you can remove and replace switches without soldering, but that doesn’t guarantee every switch will fit every hot-swap keyboard. Compatibility depends on the board’s hot-swap socket type, the switch pin layout, the keyboard’s physical plate and case tolerances, and even the firmware layout you’re using.

However, other switch families and low-profile designs may not fit those sockets or may require a different PCB entirely.
